90 Minutes to OpenSim

Join us for a history making event November 20th 2008 4PM SLT. G2 will repeat their wildly successfully "90 Minutes to OpenSim" class. This is a free class where those with patience and tenacity can create their own virtual world.

Focused on Windows this class will teach you how to get the latest source code (pooh scary word for a download link) and download and compile (even scarier word for "click button") their very own www.opensimulator.org sim.
Be prepared to say and hear comments like these students:

"It was remarkable to see 20 odd people (in both senses of that statement) most of them unfamiliar with the OpenSim concept at all go from no knowledge to having their own OpenSim region running, standing on a tiny island... in an hour. WOW"

Keep in mind this is free and zero knowledge or special tools or applications are required. This event is extra special as G2 will be dual broadcasting to www.secondlife.com and with more grids being added each successive class.
