Activeworlds 15th Anniversary Celebration

Celebrate with Us! Activeworlds, the longest running universe on the internet, turns 15 !!

Activeworlds, the 3D virtual reality program where users can log into hundreds of virtual worlds, build dreams and interact with people all over the globe will be celebrating its 15th birthday during the week of June 27th - July 4th 2010. In a series of community sponsored parties and events, the citizens of Activeworlds have invited the community and the world to see what passion of Activeworlds is really all about.


June 27th 2010 - On Sunday, SkiRascal, invites everyone to the newest state of the art, dance club in alpha world called appropriately, Club Alpha.
June 28th 2010 - On Monday, amid the snowy pines of Winter world a huge bonfire roars. Join MaxPoly, the creator of the now famous Max Pro Dance System, on the official birthday of Activeworlds! Winter World's Dance among the stars.
June 29th 2010 - On Tuesday, the party continues but with a twist. DMC2U invites the community into AWTours world for dancing amid the history that makes Activeworlds great! Throughout AWTours world are teleports to outstanding citizen builds all over the universe. An archive of passion, years in the making. Help us celebrate this history as well as a chance to bring this valuable resource up to date. Located throughout AWTours world, however the Dance Hall at coordinates 10N 3E will be the hot spot for the evening.
June 30th 2010 - On Wednesday, the Martians are taking control! Veger o, the Mad Man from Mars and renown PKtoons DJ, will host an out of this world dance party at his own Club Nebula in Mars world.
July 1st 2010 - On Thursday, the party really gets hot!! Class 3, PKtoons and the whole AWMix crew bring the house down with a retro hippies and bell bottom party. Celebrate Activeworlds 15th as we look back in history and party like there's no tomorrow.
July 2nd 2010 - On Friday, at 5pm VRT, Activeworlds is having its very first Parade!! Using the mover technology in the backdrop of Baro's, Zelena, one of Activeworlds most picturesque cities, Grand Marshalled by the community liaison, Flagg, as well as driven in by awarded builders throughout Alpha world, the community is preparing to celebrate Activeworlds Birthday with an old-fashioned Parade.
Community Photograph - July 2nd 2010 - 10pm VRT - Later on Friday, in an unprecedented event, the Activeworlds community will meet in the AWGate world for a group photograph. This event will bring the entire community together to create a once in a lifetime memory. Located in the AWGate world at coordinates 18N 0W 180, this is one occasion you don't want to miss!!
July 3rd & 4th 2010 - On Saturday and Sunday the party doesn't stop as NurseMom has invited everyone to celebrate both Activeworlds and the USA's birthday together! The Fourth of July is always an excuse to have fun, so enjoy fireworks in the company of friends and watch as the Americans go crazy. Stop into Nurses world for a weekend of unforgettable revelry. Location is Nurses world and the coordinates are 27N 13W.
