Hey everyone! This topic is really interested to me. I'm working with a group called vJam360 to bring artists into SL and Opensim. We're collaborating with Ryan Banks now and I just finished a music video featuring him performing in SL. I'd love to do more music videos/promotional videos for artists :D

Some possible great partners would be Clear Channel Communications, MTV, VH1, The House of Blues.....just to put some names out there. With a combination of virtual world technology, live video telecast and music subscription services such as itunes and realmedia music event revenues could be brought to a whole new level. I'd thought of sharing this with the group. It's a link to posting from my own blog Lane's List, The Arts in Second Life - Part Two in which I'd surveyed several of SL's more prominent performance artists on what they had accomplished the previous year and their thoughts and ideas of how the performance arts would evolve in 2008.
