Title: Project Manager
Location: San Jose, CA
Compensation: To 75K + stock
A rapidly growing, social-networking site for teens is seeking a Project Manager to support its creative department, which is very busy. The Project Manager will manage, monitor and coordinate traffic and releases for the creative team projects. As the single point of contact for releases, the PM will keep the cross-functional team on task and target. Reporting to the Creative Director, the PM will work with the creative team and several other departments to ensure a smooth and seamless flow of communications and on-time release of products and projects. In addition, the PM will be responsible for driving projects to completion and helping to document key decisions and project progress.

Responsibilities:
* Take charge of tasks, timelines and reporting for projects and drive them to completion
* Run cross-functional team meetings, identify milestones, risks and issues and drive them to resolution
* Manage preparation of creative and QA tasks, and report metrics to evaluate timeliness and quality of launches
* Build positive relationships and trust over time through strong on-time delivery, high quality, continuous innovation, and by exceeding expectations
* Enforce change control processes and ensure quality project/product delivery
* Report project status regularly
Requirements:
* More than three years of experience as a Project Manager or Traffic Manager in a software or Internet company, or advertising agency
* Strong organizational and project-management skills
* Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Effective written and oral communications skills, presentation techniques, meeting mechanics and team-building techniques
* Able to develop and monitor project schedules and timelines to identify and meet critical milestones
* Skilled in effectively negotiating interactions between artists and product, game design, development, marketing and sales departments
* Adept at working well in a cross-functional team and in a fast-paced environment, with very little direction
* A strong sense of humor
