I am creator of Kaimira and co-author of the Kaimira book series. Kaimira is a transmedia fantasy property currently in development with BBC Worldwide.

For the past decade, I've worked as a specialist in the field of youth-focused virtual community. My work has ranged from online community strategy for Fox Kids to online safety curriculum for public school teachers.

My job at Star Farm Productions is to develop transmedia entertainment properties, covering the range from books and TV to gaming and virtual worlds.

This press release is about a fantasy property I created for Star Farm Productions. It’s called Kaimira, and I am leading creative development on it across media as well as writing the books (with one other author). For the book series I use the pen name Monk Ashland.
