1) No comment on the competition, other than the general comment that you already know: 3DXplorer is the only Browser-based AND download-free immersive / interactive web3D platform.
2) Yes. Available in alpha test. We can give you access in private if business involved.
3) Not sure what you mean, please send me an e-mail clarifying this.
4) 3DXplorer is a platform on top of which everyone can develop content, software, products, websites, etc.... It is the developers decision to go open source or not. We support both open source and closed source equally.
