Thank you for the welcome. I am interested how identities are created and shift in "Virtual" worlds. This is a great place to brainstorm and gain insight...I am an educator, but my goal is to continue observing these identities and do some writing on all of this.

Hi Dave
I really do feel welcome here. I come from a graphic arts and printing background both offset and digital. I've run my own printing business and have over 8 years in direct sales. I see 3dvirtual as the next reality on the internet. I'm trying some creative ways to get some of the top internet marketers involved. This key group has in my opinion been overlooked. They bring huge traffic numbers and large followings. Some have been in business offline for over 50 years. I would like to as your opinion on this as to how to best market to this key group. I don't want to fall short for lack of resources and I'm asking for your ideas.

Here are some my thoughts

A Promotion Company For Savvy Marketers Software developers and End users: I call this Open Source Marketing

A central conference center as big as like a sports arena.
A place where they can teach, hold private one on ones
Communication hookups The works

They will charge their members and set their own price

I as a promoter we will receive a percentage of the ticket sales.

We provide the the platform
Special perks They like perks
Real VIP treatment. in exchange for traffic.

I have a list of names
One thing for sure they need to be Blown away at the potential
They like videos for their organizations to distribute.

Any one care to comment?

Hi Dave
Tx for the welcome . I am currently doing research on the GHG emissions from ICT in general and VWT in particular. I am seeking to answer the question as to just how green are virtual worlds? I would love to hook up with any folks who may have experience of this aspect of the use of VWT and their ability to reduce business travel and save GHG emissions
