One request -- please let us know if the software recommendations are for PCs or Macs. I got all excited about Caligari and then discovered it is only for PCs. Wahhhhh :-( ... :-)
You've mentioned some great resources. I've used Lynda.com for years in graphics, and am just now exploring Google Sketchup -- am finding it's taking some time to get into the 3D world, as I've been a 2D artist. Any tips on getting started with 3D...
