Association of Virtual Worlds: A Review...

I must admit I was skeptical about a new invite to yet another "friending" type website, but this AVW, is seriously cool! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my Facebook and Myspace, but so far, I like this better than either of those. The reason? That's right. I said avatarDs. Why? Many reasons, the most prominent being my uncontrollable desire to roll my eyes, or throw something, everytime my Second Life "partner", shows off a new form/fictional character, beast, etc.. Don't get me wrong, the various avatars available in SL are far beyond what's pictured here, and most are quite impressive. Mostly IMVU. I'm holding on to the hope that IMVU doesn't implode and that it becomes a viable source of income again. SL is still noob land for me and I don't spend enough time there to change this atm. :)
