After many years of wrangling with copyrights and trademarks, the official owners of the Tetris brand have decided to embrace my Flash version of the game, N-Blox, and include it in their Tetris Friends Online Games website. Woo!
In other Neave news, I have joined the hordes on Twitter @neave. So you can stop stalking me in real life and follow me on there instead.
If you can vote in the US elections, please make sure you do. The world is watching, waiting and hoping...
According to this great review by Mr Chris Pirillo, it's my website. I couldn't agree more, Chris!
Hello stargazers. I've updated my Flash-based planetarium so now you can find the planets, the sun and the moon, and create a permanent link to any view from any time at any point on Earth. Sounds exciting, doesn't it? Well it is. It is very exciting. The accuracy is pretty good too, so you can check out last week's solar eclipse or see the one from 1999 or even go to Sydney, Australia and preview the upcoming transit of Venus in 2012, or just find out when the next full moon will be.
Space pie in your face!
Paul.
My little Flash-based mapping website Flash Earth has had a few alterations after some people commented that the menus were obstructing the view of the map. So now they're resting back where they once were in the far corners of the screen. The same is also true for my space star map chart application Neave Planetarium. I must admit the menus look better there. I don't know what I was thinking of before. Kittens in string or evil clowns or something probably.
And more good news, NASA's daily satellite imagery is now being updated again thanks to Lucian Plesea from OnEarth. It's amazing that this one man is able to provide this imagery at all, given the budget cuts and insufficient resources at NASA.
That's it for now. Laters potaters,
Paul.

Let it be known by all that Kilara Balnarring made me aware of the AVW. We did not have a chance to discuss it but she dropped an URL on me in passing during a storm of IM sessions I was caught in. ;P
About Kilara: Don't let the self-deprecating thing fool you. Kilara is fierce, wise, cutting edge, and even trendsetting. She is one of my earliest and dearest friends in SL and always on a first name basis with the best creators, artists, and visionaries of the Metaverse. I think of her as a goddess on Mount Olympus, if you will. There she is quietly among the flowers in the Garden of the Gods plying her magic.
Don't cross her either; or see another side completely. She's got a mean left-hook you will not forget if you ever witness her inflicting it on the selfish, the in-genuine, the unthinking, or the unkind. Her attack is quick and resolute. Blink and you might even miss it. But be someone who wants to be of service to humanity and the world at large, and you will find one of the most generous, creative, and enlightened people I have ever had the pleasure to know.
Hurray for Kilara at AVW! ^^
