Below represents a typical login sequence for a simulator administrator:
Step 1-Login via the optional Windows Live ID system. In order to use this system an anonymous ID is given to the administrative SQL Server database. There is a standard login as well separate from Live ID. OpenID will soon be supported.

Now zip forward to today and look here…

You know the box people keep trying to think outside of? I'm about to light the box on fire and then acid bath the ashes. Future concept coming!
Some assumptions:
1-The brain stores your memories and somehow manages your real-time thought process based on memories and your current state of mind.
2-This memory will likely be one day able to be read by computer systems or something we created beyond the definition of computers today. They easily could be considered soon…

Being able to concisely convey a message is one of the primary objectives of writing in general, and promotional writing in particular. In this contest your challenge is to come up with the famous last words of some person, real or fictional, which not only befits his or her character, but also implies the nature of the fatal incident.
Here are some examples:
"
What's that beep-beep-beeping sound?"
Oscar the Grouch
"
Wait a minute - that's not an… Continue

Some random thoughts:
* not much V W presence in corporate environment and I think we know why - there needs to be a system in place to accommodate large tasks of log in creation, installations, troubleshooting
* I know this is a new technology and sometimes it is hard to 'sell' and when I say sell I don't actually mean for monetary reward I mean to convince others of the benefits.
I find I have the same conversations over and over again about how virtual worlds can benefit…

We are close to inviting a first round of beta testers to our new virtual tradeshow concept based on the 1939 World's Fair.
Christopher our "message" guru has given the latest

The following is a reprint of the Ad Nauseam column which appeared in the August 26, 2008 edition of the Metaverse Messenger
“If you’ve got something to say,” David Ogilvy once advised, “then say it. If not, sing it.”
Okay, so the great advertising guru wasn’t what you’d call a “fan” of the jingle, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have their place. As we noted last week, jingles have been a staple form of marketing…

Sadie Made is my own original artwork from RL brought into the virtual world. I am trying it out to see what the response would be to my work. I agree everyone has their own style and taste in art so I know that this is not for everyone. They are images created from within my imagination, brought to life through my sketches, paintings and drawings. My art is an expression of myself. Nothing more. None are copied and all are mine. Please check out my shop. Maybe you will find something there…

DNS is still catching up but the grid servers are on new hardware and faster network. This should help load balance more and reduce any latency when using the grid servers. The edu area is also now on this server as well as parkland and openspace which should result on lower latency in these sims also.
If you still cannot see the login page or web page, try flushing your dns and try again. the correct grid server ip is 66.197.247.214.

As a former Test Engineer at a well known aerospace firm where I worked before forming G2 with my wife Robin I had the opportunity to develop applications and processes that ultimately improved our factories throughput and hence the bottom line was also improved. I have several cases to cite in this forum the first of which started with my initial job which was electrical test of components, the final step before shipping…
