Today’s article is MAINLY about lifetime, universal, or at least long-term banning.
Let’s break down the component parts first of all. No discussion of legal terms is complete without a glossary, so I’m going to give you the abridged version. There will also be a referral for outside reading to understand the history of community in video games.
Universal banning – A pipe dream. Not yet technologically possible from an economic standpoint. For example, that would be Sony… Continue

"Indie" game engines do not have the stability/past performance record to achieve the required stability for professional applications. Factors of security, functionality, re-usability. tutorials, user knowledge has been acquired and built for over 10 years. Why try to invent the wheel; just find new ways to use it, is the challange now. Costs; we can provide a be-spoke VW using web.alive from £25K and can host for around £1K/Month for 20 peak port users. Why bother to create your own?

Even with no clinic, Dogland Park improves. Without the restrictions and limits placed on Dogland by Enrico Genosse, the park has become more of what the VKC Dog Owners Open Chat Group wanted. There are always fully trained VKC and D&D dogs available for relocation at great low costs. We also now no longer must cater to the wishes of others, concerning telling truth about certain vendors products that are bad for our SL dogs. Dogland support team can now be perfectly honest with all about… Continue

There are game engines, originally created for development of computer/video games, which can be used for non-game virtual worlds. Unreal Engine (UE) by Epic Games ( http://www.unrealtechnology.com
) is probably the strongest, robust and most popular. UE is a complete 3D development framework for PCs, Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3, providing a vast array of core technologies, content creation tools, and support infrastructure.

That’s right, I said it.
Mysteriously, most of the sites that list EULAs that I use as reference have dropped away over the past year or so.
All of these EULAs that I am sending your way are off the publisher’s front page, no deep-linking, and no commentary at all. Enjoy and use this as a resource for your gaming decisions.

What would happen if your Virtual World received a grant from a major sponsor like say IBM, or Cisco, HP, Universal Studios, AMD, Intel, Microsoft, Disney the Defense Department etc? What would you do with the money? What would Happen if the Virtual Worlds hosted their own Virtual Trade Show and invited the Big players to help foot the bill as they compete for the attention of 12 million attendees? Would it make a difference to your bottom line?
Below is what a university did with their… Continue

The question will simply not go away. Web3D is happening now. As we immerse ourselves in our various virtual spaces each day whether it be for work, collaboration, conferencing, social networking, medical research, marketing, running a business, shopping for a car, etc...- Have we considered the cost to ourselves and others who have not yet experienced the benefits of the Virtual experience?
I don't like to sound like a killjoy but unless the Virtual Worlds take their rightful place… Continue
