For many Virtual Highway grid is one that is not that well known. Like any adventure, you must first find the one winding highway that leads you to an adventure you never realized even existed, until you took that chance to venture beyond, the all to familiar.

Lightshare skies illuminate Valhalla Island

He then went on to explain, “We now also offer Lightshare. Region owners and estate managers can also set the Windlight region defaults, which make the skies and water beautiful, to even eerie. Fitting the mood of the landscape. Which enlivens Roleplay sims.”

As Virtual Highway is “Lightshare enabled,” you must have a Lightshare-compatible
viewer to see the skies. Currently the Virtual Highway viewer, Imprudence and Singularity can all see these preset skies. The Lightshare feature is only available to OpenSim grids using version 0.7 and later. Which does in fact separate Virtual Highway from other grids.
