My friends are robots

""I live in my own little world, but it's OK... they know me here." In the latest machinima from Ms. ColeMarie Soleil, the bird girl avatar weaves shimmery machinima with what seems like the internal monologue of the woman behind the computer, as she experiences Second Life. In other words, a stream of consciousness from within the metaverse. (Once again, her muse for this is the sculpted environment of Bryn Oh, a place she's composed songs for, too.) "Starting to experiment more with story telling," ColeMarie tells me simply. "I love experimenting with my voice with new sounds and making ambience for my writing." To give the imagery a shivering quality, she put the video footage through a filter in her editing program. The end result is machinima that conveys to me the quality of a dream."
