the bar is a good idea...I find myself kicked out of too many places.....
I think that it is sad that too often the virtual world repeats RL .
Property defense, you don't belong...
That I personally think that this should be an experimental platform for a new life. We need thinkers and creators.
So what is new, having a house and 2 cars..... going to concert, to university classes..It is class conscious in the sense that the 'owner' has a different status worn on their heads.
it is fun at the beginning but what are we achieving?
Peace how? I know peacmaker institute is there with 8 members and I belong. Is it a reflection of what we are doing down there?
are we finding solutions for a better life, or should i say a life adjusted to our current conditions.
The danger of VW becoming centres of escapism is great!
toys and places where you are having the life you don't have in RL that is not really attractive....
I think we should do things to solve the world's problems. I know it sounds stupidly idealistic....but who else is going to do it?
Our RL world is polluted with bad politics, greed and unnecessary wars. OK we have no war in SL . be we have virtual frontiers everywhere.
I would like to create a village where artists of all types , colours, countries, are free to live write create music and create a new way to live. New philosophy, new solutions for our centuries and problems.
We have a. powerful voice when brought forth together....
Art communities are sparse on SL and not very active.
I had a company that kindly was trying to promote my artwork... the had to stop for lack of money, and probably no one knows about them or me the company is grogman.biz.au
Artists are separated by their different trade. We have the same in RL so what else is new., it is time to find out
the old world and its standards, is dead.
sorry I don't sound very positive, but I would really like to see something happening that can help our disastrous position in RL.
I am currently teaching in Turkey, Ankara.
I need time and resources to write about this experience. I have read so much from journalists (very good) from qantara.de would like to tell them what it is like from inside.
Maybe we need a website for that as well.
